Katherine Watson Yoga


Yoga is for everyone.

Hello and welcome, I’m Kath.

I am a yoga teacher trained in Hatha Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Pre natal yoga and Kids yoga. My classes are a fluid practice that include asana (physical practice) pranayama (breath work) and meditation (discipline of the mind) . I like to teach in flow with the seasons and follow the rhythms of nature.

My yoga journey began in 1999 in a small class in Tamarama surf club. I was immediately hooked. My  passion for yoga has grown to become a way of life.  After travelling the globe and being inspired by incredible teachers in New York, Dublin, London and India , I returned to my roots at North Bondi's Dharmashala Yoga school.

In 2008 I trained under Louisa Sear and Lucy Roberts with Yoga Arts, gaining my 200 hour Level 1 Yoga teacher training.

I then taught at Dharmashala for seven years where I led classes from beginners to advanced in Hatha Vinyasa, Yin, pre-natal and kids yoga. 

I also teach private yoga (one-on-one in the privacy of your home) and corporate yoga in the workplace, tailoring a practice to bring balance to busy and often very stressful lives.

I continue my yoga development through regular teacher training programmes, workshops and retreats drawing inspiration from teachers such as Sarah Powers and Jasmine Tarkeshi.

I now live in the Northern Illawarra beaches area with my husband and 3 children.
