  • Kath has been teaching my teenage daughter yoga and meditation for over a year in weekly one hour sessions. Her approachable manner helped Kristen feel comfortable from the start.   • My clinical experience as a middle-aged medical practitioner, together with a growing body of evidence in the literature about the benefits of core strength and mindfulness, led me on a journey to find a yoga class and teacher that I felt I could benefit from. I began attending a number of different yoga schools and teachers but couldn’t find a practice that combined the physical and mindfulness aspects of yoga in a way that felt right and made sense to me. And then, I serendipitously and fortunately met Kath Watson. For the past 18 months, Kath has been teaching yoga to my wife, children and me on a weekly basis in our home. Kath’s professionalism, teaching style, deep knowledge of yoga and understanding of the body are truly impressive. We have learnt so much from Kath and gained a wonderful appreciation for yoga.

  • Watching the sunrise over the ocean in Katherine’s 6am yoga class at Austinmer surf club is the highlight of my week. I feel physically stronger, noticeably calmer and brimming with endorphins after every one of her classes. I’m honoured to be part of the community Katherine generates so effortlessly. Katherine has a gentle way of pulling everyone into her orbit of intelligence and kindness. I attended my first yoga retreat with Katherine and loved the structure. The retreat at Jack’s Corner included plenty of yoga classes, a bonfire in the evening and organic meals to bring a mixed group of shy, fit, kind and interesting people together and fill us with joy.

  • I practised yoga with Kath throughout my whole pregnancy at Bondi's Dharmashala. Her expert guidance, made a huge difference to my fitness, general flexibility and mindset leading up to the birth. Kath’s energy and experience makes for such a wonderful yoga experience, I felt very safely guided and confident about practicing with her during my pregnancy. She made modifications for the different stages of pregnancy and the classes made me feel very nurtured and connected to my baby.

So in no time at all I now attend Yoga daily, it's part of my life and makes me be a better person.
